The Tisburys Share New Single “Garden” off Upcoming Album, Exile on Main Street

Philly power pop/indie rock Left o’ BFFs The Tisburys’ new single, “Garden” is the perfect way to send off the spring season and kick off your summer. The song is the first single off The Tisburys’ upcoming album, Exile on Main Street, which you can pre-order now ahead of its September 16th release date (via Sacks of Phones).

Recorded at Sound Splitter Studio with Justin Nazario (Riverby, Dweller), mixed by Matt Muir (Ben Arnold) at Kawari Sound in Philly, and mastered by Dan Duszynski (Loma, Gold Hotel) at DANDYSOUNDS in Texas, “Garden” highlights what we love about The Tisburys. It’s bright and jangly. It’s got warm harmonies to accompany lead singer-songwriter Tyler Asay’s easy-breezy vocals. It’s hooky as hell. And it’s full of weirdly cryptic lyrics like:

Keep patrolling your horizons
Keep your typewriter upstairs
Cause those deep red lights will enter
When the mammoth secret stares

We don’t know what it means, but we’re already singing along.

Don’t hide behind those sacred symbols / That are keeping you warm.

Listen to “Garden” and pre-order Exile on Main Street.
