Forever Came Calling is a band from Twentynine Palms, California. Their iconic pop-punk album, Contender, turns 10 this year, and to mark that anniversary, they’re heading out on a headlining tour this summer, hitting just about every region in the US. We were so thrilled to talk with Joe Candelaria, the band’s lead vocalist and songwriter, about getting back on the road after a two-year break, revisiting songs he wrote a decade ago, showing love to your influences, being gentle with your past self, and what your favorite Ninja Turtle says about your taste in pizza.
