Sara Henya – “Moon Shadow” [WATCH]

Step into the witchy, wonderous world of Sara Henya this Halloween season. The Philadelphia based fairy-pop artist recently released a music video for her single, “Moon Shadow.”

It’s a lush, mystical track that we featured on the podcast back in April. The best way we could describe its sound was to compare it to “fairy champagne.”

The lyrics paint a picture of a magic forest (“My life is free, mushroom on a tree, it all grows for me.”), and the video complements it by showing Sara romping through a green dream world with an owl mage. It perfectly encapsulates the overall aesthetic of her music.

Watch the video below.

Last year, Sara Henya put out two equally imaginative music videos with “Pancakes” and “Walk Through the Woods.” She’s been known to perform at various conventions and festivals such as Balticon, Weedstock, Arisia, and Philcon – where she was the 2021 Musical Guest of Honor.

Sara Henya has a penchant for the fantastical, using a harp and ethereal melodies to teleport the listener. We’ve been eagerly awaiting her album Pop Goblin (is that not the best album title you’ve ever heard?!), and it’ll finally be here this Halloween.
