Proper. Releases New Single “Milk & Honey,” Announces New Album

Brooklyn-based emo band Proper. have just dropped a new single, “Milk & Honey.” The song is an emotional slow burn about the big “what ifs” that builds up to a soaring horn-laden outro. Notably, the song features vocals from Lily Mastrodimos of the band Long Neck, and instrumental accompaniment from Jeremy Hunter (aka Skatune Network).

You can watch the official music video for “Milk & Honey” below. Proper. also released another single, “Red, White, and Blue,” which will also appear on the new album.

The new song has also come with a new album announcement. Proper.’s next album, The Great American Novel, releases March 25th. Links to pre-order and pre-save the album can be found here.

The album will release through Father/Daughter Records, Big Scary Monsters, and Old Press Records. The U.S. store currently has pre-orders available for an exclusive baby pink & evergreen splatter vinyl, as well as a purple tint cassette.

Proper. is also slated to perform at the Gem & Jam Festival this February. Afterwards, they go on tour throughout the UK.
