No More Dysphoria Fest – Hit Like a Girl, Petal, Spring Silver to Play Fundraiser

No More Dysphoria, the non-profit organization run by Hit Like a Girl frontperson Nicolle Maroulis, has just announced the lineup for their upcoming festival. Presented by 4333 Collective, the fundraiser will take place over two days, May 6th and 7th, at the Ukie Club, here in Philadelphia. The first night will feature performances by Petal, Crooks and Nannies, Hit Like a Girl, Lisa, and Spring Silver. For night two of the fest, Witching, Sonagi, Gre/ay, Lástima, and Space Camp will take the stage. Proceeds from the event will, of course, go to the organization.

No More Dysphoria was founded by Maroulis in 2016, and since then, the organization has worked to provide financial assistance to trans and non-binary individuals through various stages of transition. NMD throws fundraisers like this from time to time. The most recent was held back in 2021 with Future Teens, Pronoun, and Nervous Dater filling out the bill. In the organization’s own words:

Transitioning can be a long, expensive, and sometimes scary process. Trans people face immense discrimination in nearly every aspect of their lives, and we hope to make at least part of that easier . . . Our goal is to continue to provide help in any way we can-whether it’s sharing your GoFundMe page, helping pay for a therapy session, whatever you need help with - we’re here for you.

For more information on No More Dysphoria or to connect with them about requesting assistance, you can visit their website. You can also donate to the organization by contributing directly via Paypal or picking up some merch from their store.

Tickets for night one and night two are on sale now.
